 Vital Records

The state office has birth and death records since February 1914 and some original Little Rock and Fort Smith records from 1881. For marriage records, it has coupons since 1917, and for divorce, coupons since 1923.

	Notes: • For county marriage records, a full certified copy may be obtained from the County Clerk in the county where the license was issued. • For county divorce records, a full certified copy may be obtained from Circuit or Chancery Clerk in the county where the divorce was granted.

 State Archives and Libraries

They currently have federal census records, county vital records, a family history and manuscript collection, phone books, militia civil war records, newspapers, some maps and photos, state land office records, indexes to compiled military service records, territorial state and county records, marriage records, estate records, deeds, county court records, and cemetery records.
