 Vital Records

State office has birth and death records since January 1900 and death records since January 1908. Copies of earlier records may be obtained from Local Registrar in county where event occurred. For marriage records, they have a statewide index since January 1958. For divorce records, they have an index since January 1970. Certified copies of marriage and divorce records are not available from State office.

 State Archives and Libraries

They currently have maps, photos, land records, Civil War rosters, probate records, church records, family history books, naturalization by county, census records from 1850-1920, newspapers, manuscripts, cemetery records, and tax records.
