State office has birth and death records since July 1911, marriage and divorce records since January 1968. For earlier records, write to County Recorder in county where event occurred. Certified copies of marriage and divorce records are not available from State Health Department.

	Notes: • For county marriage records, contact the County Recorder in the county where the license was issued. Cost will vary. • For county divorce records, contact the County Clerk in the county where the divorce was granted.

 State Archives and Libraries

They currently have census records from 1860-1920, name indexes, county records, land records, copies of land patents, tax roles, immigrant ship lists, city directories into the 1800s, Revolutionary War and officer records, tombstone lists, newspapers dating into the 1800s, Nevada territorial records, and church records.
