 Vital Records

State office has birth and death records since October 1908. Marriage and divorce records are not available from the state office and should be ordered from the county (see notes below).

Birth, Marriage, Divorce, and Death Records

	Notes: • For county marriage records, contact the Clerk of Court in the county where the license was issued. Cost will vary. • For county divorce records, you can also contact the Clerk of Court in the county where the divorce was granted. Cost will vary.

 State Archives and Libraries

They currently have census records, immigration and naturalization records, photos, maps, civil and criminal court records, indexes of vital records, pension indexes, pension applications, Revolutionary and Civil War maps, passenger lists, and church records.
