State office has birth and death records since 1903, marriage records since January 1966, and divorce records since January 1968. Certified copies of marriage and divorce records are not available from State office (see notes below). The fee listed below is for search and verification of essential facts of marriage.

	Notes: • For county marriage records, contact the County Clerk in the county where the license was issued. Cost will vary. • For county divorce records, contact the Clerk of District Court in the county where the divorce was granted. Cost will vary.

 State Archives and Libraries

They currently have federal census records from 1850-1910, vital statistics indexes, family histories, war records, naturalization records, passenger lists, land records, local histories, maps, and court records.
