ROLL-CALL list allows you to post a list of surnames you are researching.

RSL-UPDATE contains new surnames posted to the database each month.

SURNAME-QUERY list allows you to submit a query regarding a specific surname search.

SURNAMES list is a soc.genealogy.surnames.global gateway--in other words, the same messages which are sent to s.g.s.global are posted to this list. If you have trouble getting to the s.g.s.* newsgroup, but want to read the messages, this mailing list offers you a way to participate.
