who were married in Indiana or Illinois between 1790 and 1850. It's a great resource
— you'll find previously uncollected marriage records together in one place.

location
- County where the
marriage was recorded
- Where to find
copies of your ancestor's original marriage record so that you can obtain
even more detailed family history information
Once you have the details provided by the marriage index on this data set,
you may be able to contact the locality in which the marriage took place to request
a copy of the original marriage record. Original marriage records can often provide
you with more information, such as the names and birthplaces of the bride's and
groom's parents, addresses of the bride and groom, information about previous
marriages, and witnesses' names
