  1. Was it a legal matter of your own or of your parents'? For example, was it a divorce or a custody battle? Were you accused of committing a crime or were you the victim of a crime? How did the situation come about?

  2. Were you old enough to understand what was happening? Did anyone try to explain it to you?

  3. Did you have to go to court? If so, what was the outcome? What was it like in court? Were you scared? Describe the experience. Who represented you?
