- Did he have a job at the time? Was it hard to give it up or was he happy to look for something new?
- Was he married at the time of the move? Did he have any children? Were there disagreements about moving? Who was for it and who was against it?
- Describe his feelings on the night before he moved. Was he excited or, maybe, depressed about leaving his home?
- How long did it take him to move? Was it organized or chaotic? Did other family members or friends help him move and get situated in his new home?
- How far did he move? Around the block, to the next town, or to a different state? Was it easy for him to adjust to his new surroundings? Why or why not?
- Describe the home into which he moved. Was it a house, a condominium, or an apartment? Did it have a yard? Was it an improvement in his living conditions? Was it his dream home?
- Was the move a significant change? If so, did he have to make any adjustments? What did he find to be the biggest difference between the two areas?
- How long did it take him to settle in? Was he familiar with the area or did he have to go sightseeing in order to find out what was in the town or city?
- How long did he plan to stay at this location? Permanently or temporarily? Did he go through with his plans or did they change as time went on?
- Was he able to meet new people quickly in his new area? What did he think of his new neighbors?
- Did he lose touch with anyone because of the move? With whom? Did he regret not keeping in touch? Why or why not?
- Was there anything that he always treasured about this experience? If so, explain.
