- Did she have family reunions when she was a young adult? How often? How had these changed from when she was younger? Whom did she look forward to seeing?
- Of the customs that she shared with her family while growing up, which ones did she introduce to her own family?
- Many years later, what family tradition from this time was most memorable to her and why? Did it bring back memories of loved ones or the way life was in "yesteryear"?
