1. John Quincy¹ Adams (John², John³, Joseph⁴, Joseph⁵, Henry⁶), son of John Adams and Abigail Smith was born in Braintree, Norfolk, MA 11 Jul 1767. John died 23 Feb 1848 in Washington, DC, at 80 years of age.

He married Louisa Catherine Johnson in London, England, 26 Jul 1797. Louisa was born in London, England 12 Feb 1775. She was the daughter of Joshua Johnson and Catherine Nuth.

John Quincy Adams and Louisa Catherine Johnson had the following children:

2 i. George Washington Adams was born 12 Apr 1801.

3 ii. John Adams was born 4 Jul 1803.

4 iii. Charles Francis Adams was born 18 Aug 1807.

5 iv. Louisa Catherine Adams was born 12 Aug 1811.
