He married three times. He married Mrs. Ursula Brown 067 OCT 1656-5-JUL 165. He married Mrs. Joyce Hoskins CONTRACT ABT 15 MAY 16. He married Elizabeth (Elspet) Anderson in Scotland, about 1632. Elizabeth was born in Of Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland about 1614. Elizabeth was the daughter of William Anderson and Mrs. Anderson. Elizabeth died 6 OCT 1656 in Rappahannock Co., VA, at 42 years of age.

Alexander Fleming CAPT. and Elizabeth (Elspet) Anderson had the following children:

88 ii. John Fleming was born in Scotland about 1633. John died 27 AUG 1686 in Charles Parish, York Co., Virginia, at 53 years of age. His body was interred 30 AUG 1686 in Virginia. He married Mercy Mary in Scotland, before 1651.

89 iii. Elizabeth Fleming was born in Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire, Scot. about 1635. She married twice. She married Rowland Thornton. She married Robert Payne Sr. before 4 JUN 1683.

90 iv. Alexia Fleming was born in Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire, Scot. about 1637.
