1. Abigail¹ Smith (William², William³, Thomas⁴, Robert⁵), daughter of William Smith Jr. and Elizabeth Quincy, was born in Weymouth, Norfolk, MA 23 NOV 1744. Abigail died 28 OCT 1818 in Braintree, Norfolk, MA, at 73 years of age.

She married John Adams in Weymouth, Norfolk, MA, 25 OCT 1764. John was born in Braintree, Norfolk, MA 19 OCT 1735. John was the son of John Adams and Susanna Boylston. John died 4 JUL 1826 in Quincy, Norfolk, MA, at 90 years of age. CGRAD DATE 16 JUL 1755 PLAC Cambridge, Middlesex, MA

Abigail Smith and John Adams had the following children:

2 i. Abigail Adams was born 14 JUL 1765. Abigail died 13 AUG 1813 at 48 years of age.

3 ii. John Quincy Adams was born in Braintree, Norfolk, MA 11 JUL 1767. John died 23 FEB 1848 in Washington, DC, at 80 years of age. He married Louisa Catherine Johnson in London, England, 26 JUL 1797. Louisa was born in London, England 12 FEB 1775. Louisa was the daughter of Joshua Johnson and Catherine Nuth.

4 iii. Susanna Adams was born 23 DEC 1768. Susanna died 4 FEB 1770 at 1 year of age.

5 iv. Charles Adams was born 29 MAY 1770.

6 v. Thomas Boylston Adams was born 15 SEP 1772.
