12. William³ Smith (Thomas⁴, Robert⁵) was born in Charlestown, Suffolk, MA 24 MAR 1667. William died 3 JUN 1730 in Charlestown, Suffolk, MA, at 63 years of age.

He married Abigail Fowle about 1699. Abigail was born in Charlestown, Suffolk, MA 7 AUG 1679. Abigail was the daughter of Isaac Fowle and Beriah Bright. Abigail died Aft 1731.

William Smith and Abigail Fowle had the following children:

+ 7 i. William² Smith Jr. was born 29 JAN 1707.

13 ii. Mary Smith was born in Charlestown, Suffolk, MA 24 DEC 1710. Mary died 11 FEB 1800 at 89 years of age. She married Ebenezer Austin in Charlestown, Suffolk, MA, 30 NOV 1732.
