10. Abraham³ LINCOLN (John⁴, Mordecai⁵, Mordecai⁶, Samuel⁷, Edward⁸, Richard⁹, Robert¹⁰, Robert¹¹) was born in Berks, Co., Penn. 17 May 1744. Abraham died 1786 in Jefferson County, KY, at 42 years of age.

He married twice. He married Mary SHIPLY in Lunenburg, Co., VA., 1767. Mary was born in Lunenburg, Co., VA. 1742. He married Bethsheba HERRING in Bridgewater, Agusta, VA., 1770. Bethsheba was born in Rockingham, Co., VA. 1746.

Abraham LINCOLN and Bethsheba HERRING had the following child:
