He married Elizabeth Pollock in Scotland, ca 1720. Elizabeth was born in Scotland 1699. Elizabeth was the daughter of Robert Pollock. Elizabeth died in Scotland.

Alexander Hamilton and Elizabeth Pollock had the following child:
