He married twice. He married an unknown person. He married Meribah Gibbs in Norwich, Norfolk, England, JAN 1617. Meribah was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England 1595. Meribah was the daughter of John Gibbs and Alice Elmy. Meribah died 1635 in Norwich, Norfolk, England, at 40 years of age. Her body was interred in Tower Hill, Great Harbor, Martha's Vinyard, Massachusettes.

John Folger and Meribah Gibbs had the following children:

4 ii. Eleazer Folger was born in Diss, Norfolk Co., Eng 1615.

6 iv. Mary Foulger was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England 1622. Mary died 1685 in Southold, Suffolk, New York, at 63 years of age. She married twice. She married Peter Paine in Southold, Suffolk Co., NY, about 1641. She married Jeremiah Vail in Southampton, Suffolk, New York, 24 MAY 1660. (See Jeremiah Vail for the continuation of this line.)

7 v. Sarah Folger was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England 1635. Sarah died about 1685 in Piscataway, Middlesex, New Jersey. She married Richard Smith in Long Island, New York, about 1655.
