1. John¹ Gibbs was born in England about 1565. John died 1608 in Frenze Hall, Diss, Norfolk, England, at 43 years of age.

He married Alice Elmy in Eng. Alice was born in England about 1574. Alice was the daughter of Richard Elmy.

John Gibbs and Alice Elmy had the following child:

2 i. Meribah² Gibbs was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England 1595. Meribah died 1635 in Norwich, Norfolk, England, at 40 years of age. Her body was interred in Tower Hill, Great Harbor, Martha's Vinyard, Massachusettes. She married John Folger in Norwich, Norfolk, England, JAN 1617. John was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England 1590/1595. John was the son of John Sr. Folger Sr and Elizabeth. John died 1660 in Martha's Vineyard, Dukes, Massachusetts, at 69 years of age.
