Ancestry
of Bill Cosby
 |
| One of America's
most popular and successful comedians, Bill Coby's comedy career
began in Philadelphia where started out earning $5 a night telling
jokes while tending bar. His career has included television shows
(like the wildly popular Cosby Show and animated children's
series Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids), comedy albums, and
movies. He has also earned a doctorate of education from the University
of Massachusetts and, in 1988, donated $20 million to Atlanta's
Spelman College (the biggest single contribution ever made to a
black college). |
