50. John⁸ Cheney (John⁹, Peter¹⁰, John¹¹) was born in Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts 23 May 1705.⁽¹⁰⁸⁾

He married three times. He married Elizabeth Dakin in Weston, Middlesex, Massachusetts, 2 Oct 1725. "They were published Oct 2, 1725. They owned the covenant Sept. 25, 1726, and were rec'd to full communion, Feb. 4, 1727-8.⁽¹⁰⁹⁾ "

Elizabeth was born in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts 25 Aug 1703.⁽¹¹⁰⁾ Elizabeth was the daughter of Simon Dakin and Elizabeth. Elizabeth died 13 Jun 1730 in Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts, at 26 years of age.⁽¹¹¹⁾ He married Mary Clap in Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts, 25 Dec 1730.⁽¹¹²⁾ Mary was the daughter of Noah Clap and Mary Wright. Mary died 2 Jan 1744/45. He married Keziah Kendall in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts, 15 Nov 1745.⁽¹¹³⁾

54 v. Ralph Cheney was born in Georgetown, Maine 4 Oct 1750.⁽¹²⁰⁾ Ralph died 19 Aug 1826 in Salter's Island, at 75 years of age.⁽¹²¹⁾ He married twice. He married Lydia Grover 3 Jul 1772.⁽¹²²⁾ Lydia died 1785. He married Anna Jarvis 2 Aug 1785.

55 vi. Nathaniel Carter Cheney was born in Georgetown, Maine 2 Apr 1752. Actually, according to Pope, he was "born on an island in the limits of Georgetown, Me.⁽¹²³⁾ " He married Lydia Grover 16 Aug 1780.
