20. Dicey⁴ Jones was born in North Carolina ca 1790.⁽²⁷⁾

She married Taylor Duke in Orange Co., North Carolina, 14 Aug 1801.⁽²⁸⁾ According to Brandenburger's The Duke Family, this was Taylor's second marriage. Taylor was the son of John Taylor Duke Jr. and Lydia.

Taylor died by 1840 at 59 years of age.⁽²⁹⁾ (See Taylor Duke for the children resulting from this marriage.)
