2. Arthur² Macarthur (Arthur³) was born in Chicopee Falls, Hampden, Massachusetts 2 Jun 1845. Arthur died 5 Sep 1912 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at 67 years of age.

He married Mary Pinkney Hardy in Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia, 19 May 1875. Mary was born in Virginia 1852. Mary was the daughter of Thomas Albert Hardy and Elizabeth.

Arthur Macarthur and Mary Pinkney Hardy had the following child:
