He married Minnie Mae Hood 1913. Minnie was born in Fulton, Itawamba, Mississippi 17 Jun 1888. Minnie was the daughter of William Hood and Mary L. Warren. Minnie died 8 May 1980 in Memphis, Shelby, Tennessee, at 91 years of age.
