He married Mercy Tuttle in East Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, 24 Apr 1746.⁽⁹⁷⁾ Mercy was born 17 Apr 1730.⁽⁹⁸⁾ Mercy was the daughter of Joseph Tuttle and Mercy Thompson. Mercy died 12 Jan 1813 at 82 years of age.⁽⁹⁹⁾

Abraham Hemenway and Mercy Tuttle had the following children:

57 v. Enos Hemenway was born in East Haven, New Haven, Connecticut 17 Sep 1755.⁽¹⁰⁴⁾ Enos died 1845 at 89 years of age.⁽¹⁰⁵⁾ He married Sarah Hemingway 23 Apr 1777.⁽¹⁰⁶⁾ Sarah was born 18 May 1758. Sarah was the daughter of Samuel Hemingway and Mehitable Denison.

58 vi. Mercy Hemenway was born in East Haven, New Haven, Connecticut 5 Jul 1757.⁽¹⁰⁷⁾

59 vii. Elizabeth Hemenway was born in East Haven, New Haven, Connecticut 1 May 1760.⁽¹⁰⁸⁾
