of the late Robert Kennedy (John F. Kennedy's brother) Ethel
Kennedy was born in 1928 to coal magnate George Skakel and
his devoutly Catholic wife, Ann. Ethel was introduced to Robert
Kennedy by his sister when she was just 17. Together, they
would have 11 children. Ethel,
now a grandmother to 23 children, remains the matriarch of
the Kennedy family. |
