Rosanna⁵ Sweeney (Michael⁶) was born in Mason Co., Kentucky 9 Jul 1854.⁽⁸³⁾ While "Ancestors of Rosemary Clooney" lists a birth place of Toledo, Ohio for Rosanna, all the research indicates that she was born in Kentucky, perhaps Mason County. Rosanna died 23 Nov 1934 in Mason Co., Kentucky, at 80 years of age.⁽⁸⁴⁾

She married Cornelius Guilfoyle in Mayslick, Mason, Kentucky, 26 Aug 1869.⁽⁸⁵⁾ Cornelius was born in Ireland Jan 1845.⁽⁸⁶⁾ (See Cornelius Guilfoyle for the children resulting from this marriage.)
