He married Margaretha Berg ca 1764.⁽¹²⁴⁾ The marriage contract was dated 22 Feb 1764.

Margaretha was born in Brombach, Furth 25 Sep 1742.⁽¹²⁵⁾ Margaretha was the daughter of Adam Berg and Anna Elisabeth Bauer. Margaretha died 15 Dec 1793 in Walderlenbach, at 51 years of age.⁽¹²⁶⁾

Johann Philipp Berg and Margaretha Berg had the following child:
