He married Rachel Pryor in Schuyler County, Missouri, 13 Dec 1856.⁽²¹⁾ Rachel was born in Illinois 17 Dec 1840.⁽²²⁾ Rachel was the daughter of John C. Pryor and Susan Bond. Rachel died 27 Oct 1919 in Scio, Linn, Oregon, at 78 years of age.⁽²³⁾

Andrew Francis Beard and Rachel Pryor had the following children:

Green² Beard was born in Iowa 1 Oct 1857.⁽²⁴⁾ Green died 1 Apr 1932 in Redmond, Deschutes, Oregon, at 74 years of age.⁽²⁵⁾ He married Mary Josephine Moore in Linn County, Oregon, 16 Jan 1876.⁽²⁶⁾ Mary was born in Scio, Linn, Oregon 13 Aug 1855. Mary⁽²⁷⁾ was the daughter of Almon Moore and Jerusha Carey. Mary died 2 Dec 1918 in Cloverdale, Deschutes, Oregon, at 63 years of age.

8 ii. Rebecca J. Beard was born in Bloomfield, Davis, Iowa 27 Jan 1859.⁽²⁸⁾ Rebecca died 13 Mar 1935 in Jefferson, Marion, Oregon, at 76 years of age.⁽²⁹⁾ She married Robert Weddle in Linn County, Oregon, 27 Dec 1874.⁽³⁰⁾ Robert was born in Missouri Jul 1852.⁽³¹⁾

9 iv. Sarah S. Beard was born in Iowa ca 1861.⁽³²⁾ She married Oscar E. Holdridge in Linn County, Oregon, 14 Aug 1880.⁽³³⁾

10 v. Mary E. Beard was born in Oregon ca 1865.⁽³⁴⁾ Mary died bef 1880.⁽³⁵⁾ It is probable that Mary died before 1880 as she does not appear in the 1880 census with her family.

11 vi. Martha E. Beard was born in Oregon ca 1867.⁽³⁶⁾ She married Frank Irvine in Linn County, Oregon, 5 Dec 1886.⁽³⁷⁾ Frank was born in Linn County, Oregon 17 May 1864.⁽³⁸⁾

12 vii. Charles W. Beard was born in Oregon Jan 1869.⁽³⁹⁾ He married Emeline Irvine in Linn County, Oregon, 27 Nov 1892.⁽⁴⁰⁾ Emeline was born in Linn County, Oregon 1 Aug 1870.⁽⁴¹⁾

13 viii. Elva Beard was born in Oregon ca 1871.⁽⁴²⁾ She married A. G. Wolfard in Marion County, Oregon, 1 Mar 1888.⁽⁴³⁾

14 ix. William Beard was born in Oregon ca 1873.⁽⁴⁴⁾

15 x. Rosa E. Beard was born in Oregon ca 1874.⁽⁴⁵⁾ Rosa died 3 Jun 1924 in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, at 49 years of age.⁽⁴⁶⁾ She married William F. Follis in Linn County, Oregon, 27 Sep 1893.⁽⁴⁷⁾
