He married Margaret Jackson. Margaret was born in New Jersey ca 1745.⁽¹¹⁰⁾ Margaret died 1818 in Hardy County, Virginia, at 73 years of age.⁽¹¹¹⁾

Moses Tichenor and Margaret Jackson had the following child:

+ 42 i. David⁸ Tichenal was born ca 1763.
