1. John¹ Wayne (Clyde Leonard² Morrison, Marion Mitchell³, James W.⁴, Robert⁵, James⁶), son of Clyde Leonard Morrison and Mary Alberta Brown, was born in Winterset, Madison, Iowa 26 May 1907.⁽¹⁾ John died 11 Jun 1979 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, at 72 years of age.

He married three times. He married Josephine Saenz 1933. Josephine was divorced from John Wayne 1945. He married Esperanza Baur 1946. Esperanza was born in Mexico ca 1926. Esperanza died 11 Mar 1961 in Mexico, at 34 years of age. Esperanza was divorced from John Wayne 1954. He married Pilar Palette 1954.
