71. Samuel³ Alden (David², John¹) was born ca Dec 1688. Samuel died 24 Feb 1781 at 92 years of age.

He married Sarah Sprague in Duxbury, Massachusetts, 26 Feb 1727/28. Sarah was born ca May 1701. Sarah died 28 Mar 1773 at 71 years of age.

Samuel Alden and Sarah Sprague had the following children:

119 i. Rebecca⁴ Alden was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts 4 Jan 1729/30. Rebecca died 21 Jul 1818 in Duxbury, Massachusetts, at 88 years of age.

120 ii. Sarah Alden was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts 2 Dec 1731. Sarah died 4 May 1788 in Duxbury, Massachusetts, at 56 years of age.

121 iii. John Alden was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts 20 Mar 1733/34. John died 1761 at 27 years of age.

122 iv. Alice Alden was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts 5 Sep 1735.

123 v. Samuel Alden was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts 13 Aug 1737.

124 vi. Ichabod Alden was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts 11 Aug 1739. Ichabod died 11 Nov 1778 at 39 years of age.

125 vii. Alathea Alden was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts 24 Aug 1744.

126 viii. Abigail Alden was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts 23 Apr 1750.
