She married John Lewis Rivers ca 1888.⁽⁴⁰⁾ John was born in Chesterfield County, South Carolina 2 May 1866.⁽⁴¹⁾ John was the son of William Jasper Rivers and Lydia Jane Massey. John died 18 Feb 1947 at 80 years of age.⁽⁴²⁾ (See John Lewis Rivers for the children resulting from this marriage.)
