28. Bridget⁴ Murphy (Richard⁵) was born in Dunganstown, Wexford County, Ireland 1821. Bridget died December 20, 1888 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at 67 years of age.⁽¹²⁷⁾ Her body was interred in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

She married Patrick Kennedy in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, September 26, 1849.⁽¹²⁸⁾ Patrick was born in Dunganstown, Wexford County, Ireland about 1823.⁽¹²⁹⁾ Patrick was the son of Patrick Kennedy and Mary Johanna (-----). Patrick died November 22, 1858 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at 35 years of age.⁽¹³⁰⁾ His body was interred November 23, 1858 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Patrick immigrated, about 1849. Destination: Boston, Massachusetts, USA.⁽¹³¹⁾ According to legend, Patrick was driven out of Ireland by starvation. This was untrue. He believed that America offered economic opportunity and political freedom and therefore set out to a new land.
