17. John Vernou³ Bouvier III (John Vernou⁴, John Vernou⁵, Michel⁶, Eustache⁷, Francois⁸, George⁹) was born in Easthampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts May 19, 1891. John died August 2, 1957 at 66 years of age. His body was interred in Easthampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.

He married Janet Norton Lee in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York, July 7, 1928. Janet was born 1906. Janet is the daughter of James Thomas Lee and Margaret A. Merritt. Janet was divorced from John Vernou Bouvier III 1938. She became engaged to Hugh D. Auchincloss 1942.

John Vernou Bouvier III and Janet Norton Lee had the following children:

18 ii. Caroline Lee Bouvier was born in Southampton, Suffolk County, New York 1933. She married twice. She married Michael Canfield in Washington, District of Columbia, April, 1953. She married Prince Stanislaus Radziwill March, 1959.

She was christened in New York City, New York County, New York, July 29, 1933.
