She married twice. She married John Vernou Bouvier III in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York, July 7, 1928. John was born in Easthampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts May 19, 1891. John was the son of John Vernou Bouvier Jr. and Maud Frances Sergeant. John died August 2, 1957 at 66 years of age. His body was interred in Easthampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. She married Hugh D. Auchincloss June, 1942. He became engaged to Janet Norton Lee 1942.

Janet was divorced from John Vernou Bouvier III 1938. She became engaged to Hugh D. Auchincloss 1942.

Janet Norton Lee and Hugh D. Auchincloss had the following children:

20 i. Janet Jennings² Auchincloss was born 1945.

21 ii. James Lee Auchincloss was born 1947.
