8. Jessie Laura³ Sherrard (Joseph A.⁴, William F.⁵) was born in Robinson, McLennan, Texas 17 Mar 1898.⁽⁷⁾ Jessie died 17 Feb 1981 in El Paso County, Texas, at 82 years of age.

She married Halsey Sinclair Hawkins in Little Rock, Pulaski, Arkansas, 29 Apr 1918. Halsey was born in Little Rock, Pulaski, Arkansas 4 Mar 1894. Halsey was the son of Charles Wesley Hawkins and Martha Jennie Allen. Halsey died 23 Aug 1982 in Midland, Midland, Texas, at 88 years of age.
