61. David⁶ Chadwell (John⁷) was born in Rockingham County, North Carolina 22 Dec 1790.⁽⁹⁵⁾ David died 3 Jan 1872 in Fannin County, Texas, at 81 years of age.⁽⁹⁶⁾

He married Jane Johnson in Rockingham County, North Carolina, 23 Mar 1820.⁽⁹⁷⁾ Jane was born in Rockingham County, North Carolina 13 Sep 1795.⁽⁹⁸⁾ Jane was the daughter of Gideon Johnson and Mary Baker DeGraffenried. Jane died 31 Oct 1885 in Trenton, Fannin, Texas, at 90 years of age.⁽⁹⁹⁾

David Chadwell and Jane Johnson had the following children:

62 i. John Johnson⁵ Chadwell⁽¹⁰⁰⁾ was born in Davidson County, Tennessee 15 Mar 1813. John died 22 Jan 1884 in Fannin County, Texas, at 70 years of age. He married twice. He married Aldridge. He married Emmaline Lavender in Marshall County, Tennessee, 1849.

+ 42 ii. Mary Chadwell was born 29 Jul 1815.

63 iii. William P. Chadwell⁽¹⁰¹⁾ was born 1816. He married Martha A. Lillard.

64 iv. James B. Chadwell was born 1820. He married Elizabeth McRory.

65 v. female Chadwell. She married Mathis.

66 vi. Brown Chadwell⁽¹⁰²⁾ was born ca 1824.

67 vii. Joseph B. Chadwell⁽¹⁰³⁾ was born ca 1826. He married Mary F. Sanders in Fannin County, Texas, 2 Feb 1858.⁽¹⁰⁴⁾

68 viii. S. A. Chadwell⁽¹⁰⁵⁾ was born ca 1829. He married Mary J. Kingston.

69 ix. Nancy Chadwell was born ca 1831. She married William Montgomery.
