140. William⁹ Allen (Robert¹⁰) was born in Hanover County, Virginia ca 1714-1724.⁽²⁰¹⁾ William died 1785 at 71 years of age.

He married twice. He married Ann Owen. Ann is the daughter of Thomas Owen and Elizabeth Brooks. He married Frances Grant in New Kent County, Virginia, 1750.⁽²⁰²⁾ Frances was born in New Kent County, Virginia 14 Oct 1716.⁽²⁰³⁾ Frances was the daughter of Thomas Grant and Isabella Richardson.

William Allen and Ann Owen had the following children:

149 x. Mildred Allen. She married Berry.

150 xi. Thomas Allen⁽²⁰⁷⁾ was born in Hanover County, Virginia 14 May 1757. Thomas died 26 Jun 1833 in Harrodsburg, Mercer, Kentucky, at 76 years of age. He married Mary Jouett in Mercer County, Kentucky, 16 Feb 1789. Mary was born in Louisa, Louisa, Virginia 11 Jun 1765. Mary⁽²⁰⁸⁾ was the daughter of John Jouett and Mourning Glenn Harris. Mary died 28 Jun 1833 in Harrodsburg, Mercer, Kentucky, at 68 years of age.
