2. Andrew Jackson² Borden (Abraham Bowen³, Richard⁴, Richard⁵, Thomas⁶, Richard⁷, John⁸, Richard⁹, Matthew¹⁰) was born in Fall River, Bristol, MA 13 Sep 1822. Andrew died 4 Aug 1892 in Fall River, Bristol, MA, at 69 years of age. Found murdered in his home, along with his second wife, Abby, the death of Andrew Borden was the talk of the town and the trial of the century. Though indicted for their deaths, his daughter Lizzie, was ultimately acquitted of the crime. Local talk for years would always wonder if Lizzie had in fact committed the heinous crime.

He married twice. He married Sarah Anthony Morse bef 1851. Sarah was born in Somerset, Bristol, MA 19 Sep 1823. She was the daughter of Anthony Morse and Rhoda Morrison. Sarah died 26 Mar 1863 in Fall River, Bristol, MA, at 39 years of age. He married Abby Durfee Gray abt 1865. Abby was born abt 1827. Abby died 4 Aug 1892 in Fall River, Bristol, MA.

Andrew Jackson Borden and Sarah Anthony Morse had the following children:

3 i. Emma Lenore¹ Borden was born in Fall River, Bristol, MA 1 Mar 1851. Emma died 10 Jun 1927 in Newmarket, New Hampshire.
