6. Abigail² May (Joseph³, ⁴) was born in Boston, Suffolk, MA 8 Oct 1800. Abigail died 1877 at 76 years of age.

She married Amos Bronson Alcott 23 May 1830. Amos was born in Wolcott, New Haven, CT 29 Nov 1799. Amos was the son of Joseph Chatfield Alcott and Anna Bronson. Amos died Mar 1888 at 88 years of age. (See Amos Bronson Alcott for the children resulting from this marriage.)
