9. Nellie R.³ Durrell (George Osborn⁴, Newman⁵, Joseph⁶) was born about 1856.

She married Jasper Clinton Ball in Dunkirk, Chautauqua Co., NY, 15 Nov 1876. Jasper was born in Busti, Erie Co., NY 16 May 1852. Jasper was the son of Clinton Manross Ball and Cynthia T. Dale. Jasper died 24 May 1933 at 81 years of age. (See Jasper Clinton Ball for the children resulting from this marriage.)
