10. Johann Conrad⁴ Völtzing birth date unknown. Johann died 1870.⁽¹⁶⁾

Johann's roots are in the Black Forest, where the Völtzing family had been making clocks since 1733. By 1820, Johann Conrad had moved to Berlin and changed his surname from Völtzing to Felsing. Of his three sons, only Albert Karl Julius would remain in Berlin to help run the shop. The other two, whose names are currently unknown to this researcher, returned to Hessen and became engravers.⁽¹⁷⁾

Johann Conrad Voltzing had the following child:
