9. James IV³ Stuart (James III⁴, James II⁵, James I⁶, Robert III⁷) was born in Perthshire, Scotland 17 Mar 1473. James died 9 Sep 1513 in Northumberland, England, at 40 years of age.

He married Margaret Tudor in Edinburgh, Scotland, 8 Aug 1503. Margaret was born in London, England 28 Nov 1489. Margaret was the daughter of Henry VII Tudor and Elizabeth Plantagenet. Margaret died 18 Oct 1541 in Perthshire, Scotland, at 51 years of age.

James IV Stuart and Margaret Tudor had the following children:

10 i. James² Stuart Duke of Rothesay was born in Edinburgh, Scotland 21 Feb 1507. James died 27 Feb 1508 at 1 year of age.

11 ii. Daughter Stuart was born in Edinburgh, Scotland 15 Jul 1508. Daughter died 1508 at less than one year of age.

12 iii. Arthur Stuart Duke of Rothesay was born in Edinburgh, Scotland 20 Oct 1509. Arthur died 14 Jul 1510 in Edinburgh, Scotland, at less than one year of age.

+ 3 iv. James V Stuart was born 15 Apr 1512.

13 v. Daughter Stuart was born in Edinburgh, Scotland Nov 1512. Daughter died Nov 1512 at less than one year of age.

14 vi. Alexander Stuart Duke of Ross was born in Scotland 30 Apr 1514. Alexander died 18 Dec 1515 in Scotland, at 1 year of age.
