16. Claude of Guise³ de Lorraine Duke of Guise (Rene II⁴, Ferry II⁵) was born 20 Oct 1496. Claude died 12 Apr 1550 at 53 years of age.

He married Antoinette de Bourbon Duchess of Guise 9 Jun 1513. Antoinette was born 25 Dec 1493. Antoinette was the daughter of Francois de Bourbon Comte de Vendome and Marie de Luxembourg. Antoinette died 22 Jan 1583 at 89 years of age.

Claude of Guise de Lorraine Duke of Guise and Antoinette de Bourbon Duchess of Guise had the following children:

+ 6 i. Mary de Guise² de Lorraine was born 22 Nov 1515.

17 ii. Francois de Lorraine Duke de Guise 2nd was born 1519. Francois died 1563 at 44 years of age.

18 iii. Charles de Lorraine Cardinal de Lorraine was born 1524. Charles died 1574 at 50 years of age.

19 iv. Claude d'Aumale Duke d'Aumale was born 1526. Claude died 1573 at 47 years of age.

20 v. Louis de Guise Cardinal de Guise. Louis died 1578 at 48 years of age.

21 vi. Renato d'Elbeuf Marchesse d'Elbeuf was born 1536. Renato died 1556 at 20 years of age.
