77. Peter III⁶ Romanov (Charles Frederick⁷ von Holstein-Gottorp, Frederick⁸, Christian Albrecht⁹, Frederick III¹⁰, Johann Adolf¹¹) was born in Kiel, Germany 21 Feb 1728. Peter died 17 Jul 1762 at 34 years of age.

He married Catherine II the Great von Anholt-Zerbst 1 Sep 1745. Catherine was born in Szczecin, Poland 2 May 1729. Catherine was the daughter of Christian Augustus von Anholt-Zerbst and Joanna Elizabeth von Holstein-Gottorp. Catherine died 17 Nov 1796 at 67 years of age.

Peter III Romanov and Catherine II the Great von Anholt-Zerbst had the following children:

+ 52 i. Paul I Petrovich⁵ Romanov was born 1 Oct 1754.

78 ii. Anna Petrovna Romanov was born 20 Dec 1757. Anna died 19 Mar 1759 at 1 year of age.
