86. Frederick⁸ von Holstein-Gottorp (Christian Albrecht⁹, Frederick III¹⁰, Johann Adolf¹¹) was born 18 Oct 1671.

He married Hedwig Sophie von Simmern 12 Jun 1698. Hedwig was born 26 Jun 1681. Hedwig was the daughter of Charles XI von Simmern and Ulrica Eleanor Oldenburg. Hedwig died 22 Dec 1708 at 27 years of age.

Frederick von Holstein-Gottorp and Hedwig Sophie von Simmern had the following child:
