| Despite a
long career as a comic actor, Paul Lynde is often remembered for
the 15 years he spent as the center square on Hollywood Squares.
Before this, he played the father of a star-struck teenager in Bye,
Bye Birdie (on Broadway and on film). Later, he would have a
short-lived television show where David Letterman would hone his
comedy skills as a writer. |
