2. Hoy² Lynde (Isaac Corydon³, Isaac⁴) was born in Middlebury Twp., Knox Co., Ohio 5 July 1894.⁽¹⁾ Hoy died 26 May 1949 in Clinton Township, Knox County, Ohio, at 54 years of age.⁽²⁾

He married Sylvia Bell Doup in Knox County, Ohio, 5 Jun 1916.⁽³⁾ Sylvia was born in Pike Township, Knox Co, Ohio 23 August 1898.⁽⁴⁾ Sylvia was the daughter of Elmer Doup and Debba Hauger. Sylvia died 23 Feburary 1949 in Mt. Vernon, Knox County, Ohio, at 50 years of age.⁽⁵⁾

Hoy Lynde and Sylvia Bell Doup had the following children:

3 i. Grace E. L.¹ Lynde was born in Ohio 1917.

4 ii. Helen L. Lynde was born in Ohio 1919.

+ 1 iii. Paul Edward Lynde was born 13 June 1926.
