He married Wilhelmina Carolina von Brandenburg in Herrenhausen, Hanover, Preussen, 22 Aug 1705. Wilhelmina was born in Ansbach, Mittelfranken, Bayern 1 Mar 1683. Wilhelmina was the daughter of John Frederick von Brandenburg and Eleonore Erdmuthe Louise. Wilhelmina died 20 Nov 1737 in London, London, England, at 54 years of age.
