He married twice. He married Rose Gonthier in St. Raphael, Bellechasse, Quebec, 11 Feb 1861.⁽⁵⁴⁾ Rose was the daughter of Antoine Gonthier and Marie Francoise Roy. Rose died bef 11 Sep 1883.⁽⁵⁵⁾ He married Desanges Roy in Armagh, Bellechasse, Quebec, 25 Oct 1880.⁽⁵⁶⁾ Desanges was born in Quebec ca 1845.⁽⁵⁷⁾
